ACTIONS & EFFECTS FOR ADOBE PHOTOSHOP

Actions are pre-recorded sequences of steps in Adobe Photoshop that automate the photo editing process and other graphic design tasks. They save settings and operations like applying filters, color correction, adding effects, layers, and masks — all of which can be reproduced with a single click.

Actions are used for:

• Saving time. Especially helpful when processing large batches of images.
• Consistent style. Maintain the same visual effect across all images.
• Simplified workflow. Allow even beginners to apply professional editing techniques.
• Creative effects. Easily apply atmospheric, artistic, or stylized toning to photos.

Once installed in Photoshop, actions become available in the Actions panel. To apply an effect, simply select the desired action and press Play. Photoshop will automatically execute all saved steps, delivering the final result. Some actions may include pauses, prompting users to make small adjustments — like selecting intensity or brushing over areas where the effect should be applied.

Actions are perfect for editing portraits, landscapes, fashion, blog photography, and other design projects, helping you achieve professional results quickly and effortlessly.

Step 1. Download the action(s) and unzip the ZIP archive to any folder.

Step 2. Open Photoshop. Go to the Actions panel (open it via the menu if it's not visible).

Step 3. Click the small arrow in the top-right corner of the Actions panel and select Load Actions. Choose the .atn file(s) from the folder where you unzipped the archive. The actions will appear in the Actions panel and will be ready to use.

Step 1. Open your image in Photoshop (JPEG or converted RAW files are supported). Make sure the image has no layers and is in the RGB color space. It's recommended to retouch the image beforehand (remove blemishes and apply technical corrections) unless you're using special retouching actions.

Step 2. Select the desired action in the Actions panel by clicking its name, then press the Play button (small arrow icon) at the bottom of the panel.

That's it! A new group of adjustment layers (or a single new layer, depending on the action type) will be created above your original image.
